| О себе: | I'm posting a profile on here primarily to search for my future wife & increase my circle of online friends, so feel free to say hi. Here's some details about me: I was born on my maternal grandparents dairy farm in upstate New York, grew up in California and have traveled VERY extensively, not just overseas, but I've also managed to visit 48 of our 50 US States, only missing Idaho & Alaska to complete my list. I won't list all my various lifetime positions held, but I'm very proud to have served 8 years in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division, headquartered at Fort Bragg, NC . . . among my Infantry and Leadership military training and other various miscellaneous activities I garnered 53 jumps out of helicopters and airplanes of all types, which has, sadly, led to my becoming a Disabled American Veteran. Fortunately, all throughout the rest of my life I've been blessed to have excellent health. LOL, however, due to my lifelong participation in a wide variety of sports, such as Soccer, Skiing, Surfing, Racquetball, Tennis, Track, Football, Rugby & W-A-Y too many more to fully list out here, I've endured a plethora of assorted sprains, bumps, bruises, ligament tears & a broken bone (or 2 or 3 or 4), several of which have developed, as I noted above, to be permanently disabling, yet my overall health and overall constitution continues to be excellent-to-above average for a person of my now advanced age of 67 years. Over my lifetime-to-date I've achieved, accomplished, and have been awarded many accolades, but one of my proudest individual successes came about in 2004 when I founded The S.T.A.R.S. Foundation. That acronym stands for Student/Teacher Appreciation Recognition System, and through it I've promoted goodwill to over one thousand students & teachers both for their stellar performances and jobs well done by providing them with overly deserved personal recognition, supporting their in- and after-school activities, promotions & events and even awarding scholarships to a select core who went above and beyond in their efforts to better themselves and assist others. By trade, I've been a business owner, manager, entrepreneur, and professional photographer that's bounced from the West Coast to the East Coast, back & forth and beyond, which has also found me volunteering in many roles as a State & National Pageant Judge for the American Coed Program, assisting numerous Relay for Life fundraising objectives & even performing for 5 years as the metro-Atlanta, GA, official Toys for Tots Santa, also assisting the Medford, OR, Toys for Tots organization as an official Santa. I officially retired at age 62 and ended up falling back on my evolved life skills of Writing, Editing, Marketing, Promotions, Personal Representation & more, which have all intrigued me at various points in my life, to pass away the time. Oh, speaking of writing, I finally completed my first poetry tome, which features both my poems and those of my maternal grandmother, titled, REFLECTIONS - Poetry & Missives Celebrating Love & Life, which was listed for sale in mid-2017 on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites...I've since published 5 other books...
